Most are repeats and/or are years old. The “begathons” have started up again (last week of September). It hasn’t even been a full month! Once again, I can watch Suze Orman, Lawrence Welk and the brain programs 5 or 6 times a week (CH 9 or 54), along with all the other unwatchable pay-for-play foolishness. When will you learn that the more you beg, the less you get? Why else do you have to run the begathons so often? I long ago stopped donating because of the incessant repeats. It’s also incredibly annoying to have your annoying adverts for Prohibition come popping up in the bottom left corner of the screen—-and hang there for about a minute. I’m realizing that I can watch a lot of programs online or buy DVDs or rent them at the library. You’re doing all you can to drive viewers away from KQED and KQED+. After living in Sunnyvale for nearly 20 years, seeing this wonderful history is fabulous! I watched acres and acres of the Olsen cherry orchard being plucked like weeds and destroyed to make apartments for a few dollars, and it nearly broke my heart! I am sad to see what was, but hope that you will also show what still stands. Please tell us more to help keep remains going (like Sunnyvale's apricot orchard).
